YOUNGEST PHILATELIST TO WIN A GOLD MEDAL IN AN INTERNATIONAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION
Atharva Chandrakant Bhujade (born March 1, 2008), a philatelist from Gondia, Nagpur, Maharashtra, achieved a distinguished milestone by winning a Gold Medal (88 points) in the Youth Class at the 2nd International Virtual Aero & Astrophilatelic Exhibition 2026 (AMSIPEX-26). The exhibition was organized by the Air Mail Society Foundation India and held from February 14 to 22, 2026. His award-winning exhibit was titled “AIRGRAPH and V-MAIL: Microfilm Mail of World War II.” By accomplishing this feat, he set a new record for being the youngest philatelist to win a Gold Medal in the Youth Class at AMSIPEX 2026 with World Records India on 23rd February, 2026.
