LONGEST RUNNING NON-COMMERCIAL LIVE MUSICAL PROGRAMME

Shri Hiren Vaishnav from Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India, has been successfully organizing a non-commercial live musical programme under the banner of “Soorili Sanj,” with the aim of promoting Indian musical tradition and providing a platform for new artists. The initiative was originally started by Late Shri Rajesh Vaishnav in the year 1998. Since its inception, this initiative has hosted 335 monthly musical programmes, with participation from over 300 artists between the years 1998 to 2026. Local citizens have been regularly invited to perform songs and music, making it a unique and enduring cultural platform. By achieving this remarkable milestone, group set a new record on 5 April 2026 at Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.
