LONGEST DISTANCE CONTINUOUS RIVER SWIM BY THE OLDEST PERSON
Dr. Rajendra Jaiswal, a 63-year-old endurance athlete from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, successfully completed a remarkable long-distance swimming marathon in the sacred Narmada River. He covered a total distance of 25.65 kilometres in 8 hours and 13 minutes, starting at 6:45 AM from Sitaram Ghat, Sandiya, Madhya Pradesh, and finishing on 3:00 PM on the same day at Motalsir Ghat, Dist. Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. With this extraordinary achievement on 11th March 2026, he became the oldest person in India to complete the longest continuous river swim, setting a new record.
