MAXIMUM NUMBER OF FREE HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES ISSUED FOR SPECIALLY ABLED CHILDREN IN A SINGLE DAY
On International Inner Wheel Day 2026, INNER WHEEL DISTRICT 301, DELHI, led by District Chairman MS. DEEPIKA BALI and PAP DR. PREETI GUGNANI, in association with PARIVAAR (NCPO), created history by achieving the largest single-day enrolment of children with Autism and Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) under the Government of India–supported Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme. Over 3,000 children were enrolled in a single day, each receiving ₹1,00,000 annual health coverage with no age limit, no income ceiling, and no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. Implemented through the “One Member – One Child” model, Inner Wheel members sponsored the premiums, ensuring dignity, inclusion, and social security. This landmark achievement was certified by World Records India on 10th January 2026, marking a significant milestone in inclusive healthcare.
