Shankar Andani a Creative Writer from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra has written, compiled, and edited a monumental poetry anthology titled “Aai – Karuna, Vatsalya & Prem.” This remarkable book stands as India’s largest poetry collection on a single emotional theme in marathi language, celebrating motherhood, compassion (karuna), care (vatsalya), and love (prem). The anthology features a total of 1,121 poems, contributed by 189 poets from across India, making it a rare literary milestone that brings together diverse poetic voices under one universal emotion—Aai (Mother).
