 LONGEST DISTANCE CROSS-COUNTRY EXPEDITION ON AN ELECTRIC BIKE (UV F77)

To Promote Sustainable Mobility and Environmental Awareness, HARISH SURAMPADE, a Rider from Bangalore, Karnataka, India, completed an extraordinary cross-country expedition on an electric bike (Ultraviolette F77). Starting and concluding in Bangalore, Karnataka, the journey took place from May 17, 2024, to January 8, 2026. Over the course of 600 days, he covered 1,20,000 kilometres across all the states of India, reached 13 international borders, and conquered two of the world’s highest motorable passes — Khardung La and Umling La. The expedition withstood extreme weather conditions ranging from –15°C to +48°C. By accomplishing this remarkable feat, he set a New World Record on January 8, 2026.
