LONGEST NON-STOP MUSICAL INSTRUMENT PERFORMANCE BY STUDENTS
To create awareness and appreciation of Indian musical instruments among children, LALITHA PUBLIC SCHOOL, Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra, organized a World Record Program under the visionary leadership of DR. CHETNA R. TANK and DR. MANJARI JOSHI. In this remarkable and historic event, 24 students participated and simultaneously performed 45 different Indian musical instruments continuously for 12 hours. The musical marathon commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 9:00 PM on the same day. This extraordinary performance was successfully completed on 2nd January 2026 at the Lalitha Public School Auditorium, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, thereby setting a new World Record and showcasing the dedication, discipline, and musical talent of young students. The event was conceptualized and professionally managed by Artist Sumit Chakre and his team, whose efforts ensured the flawless execution of this record-breaking achievement.
