MAXIMUM PET REGISTRATIONS BY A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN A SINGLE DAY

To promote responsible pet ownership, pet registration and rabies control, JAIPUR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION & PAWS (PROTECTION OF ANIMALS AND WELFARE SOCIETY), Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, organized the largest single-day pet registration drive. During the event, 2,142 pets (Dogs / Cats) were registered by their owners in accordance with the national guidelines of the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI), setting a new record with World Records India on 2nd August 2026.
