LONGEST SURYA NAMASKAR RELAY
On the occasion of National Youth Festival 2021, HIMALAYAN MOUNTAINEERING INSTITUTE, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India, organized the longest Surya Namaskar relay nonstop for 75 hrs duration under the leadership of Gp. Capt. Jai Kishan, Principal, HMI were in total 270 participants (15 Participants in each Group) performed a total of 2,11,781 Surya Namaskar in 75 hours from 9th January 2021/ 09.00 am to 12th January 2021 / 12.00 pm and set a New World Record at Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. The 75 hours relay event aimed to commemorate the 75 years of India’s Independence and was supported by Hon’ble Minister and officials of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
