FIRST & ONLY FEMALE PRESERVING MUSICIAN OF HAVELI SANGEET HERITAGE

Dr. Ratnambara Sharma of Vrindaban, Uttar Pradesh is preserving the Braj Haveli Sangeet (A Great Musical Heritage of India). She is the only female exponent of this music tradition inspired by Vaishnav Saint Vallabhacharya a great Spiritual Philosopher & founder of Pushtimargiya Sect. She is promoting Haveli Sangeet Parampara by performances, writings and delivering lecturers in National-International cultural seminars. Dr. Ratnambara Sharma is achiever of ‘Research-Fellow’ Award in Devotional Temple Music from Ministry of Culture-Government of India.
