 WORLD’S LARGEST HANDMADE LADIES KURTI SET

To support Tribal Women’s and Promote Indian Traditional Handicraft Fashion,  SHRI KETAN PATEL, a Founder of TADKO THE ESSENTIAL, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, created the World’s Largest Handmade Mirror-Work Ladies Kurti Set. The Kurti measured 18 feet in total length, with a 5-foot torso, 6.25-foot sleeves, and a massive 24-meter flare (gher) comprising 32 Kalis (panels). The set also included a 13-foot-long culotte pant. A total of 148 meters of fabric was used for the Kurti and 27 meters for the pant, along with 8,000 meters of stitching thread, 5,379 meters of Anchor thread, and 489 handcrafted mirror glasses. Crafted in 25XL size under the guidance of stitching master Shri Namanbhai, the garment was completed by 5–6 skilled tailors in 250 working hours, featuring intricate hand mirror crochet work by Smt. Kananben and team. This remarkable achievement was officially recognized and confirmed by World Records India on 23rd February 2026 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
