LONGEST OMKAR CHANTING MARATHON BY A GROUP (SIMULTANEOUSLY)
On the auspicious occasion of Somnath Swabhiman Parv 2026 and to welcome the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY, Veraval, Gujarat, India, organized a World Record program. In this historic spiritual event, more than 2,500 Rishi Kumar’s from across the state of Gujarat participated and collectively performed 72 hours of uninterrupted Omkar chanting, simultaneously and continuously, creating a powerful spiritual vibration without any break. This remarkable feat established a New World Record on 11th January, 2026, at the Somnath Temple premises, Veraval, Gujarat, India.
