LARGEST ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH BY AN INDIVIDUAL
Dayashankar Dwivedi, a renowned environmentalist and philanthropist from Badkhara, Madhya Pradesh, India, has been recognized for conducting one of the largest environmental conservation and public awareness campaigns through continuous community outreach. Through extensive awareness drives conducted across villages, urban areas, households, public places, and railway stations, he directly educated and inspired more than 100,000 (one lakh) people about environmental conservation, cleanliness, waste management, water conservation, tree plantation, biodiversity protection, and the reduction of single-use plastics. For his outstanding contribution to environmental protection and public awareness through long-term social service, he was officially recognized and confirmed by World Records India on 4th July, 2026.
