LONGEST SOLO MARATHON PLAYING TRADITIONAL GARBA AND DANDIYA RHYTHMS ON MULTIPLE DRUMS
To Preserve India’s Rich Rhythmic Heritage and Drumming Culture, KEYOOR PRADEEP JANI, a Hand Drum Artist from Mumbai, Maharashtra, achieved an extraordinary feat by continuously performing a solo marathon drumming session for 35 hours, featuring Traditional Garba, Dandiya Raas, and Avanaddha Vadya (Membranophone/Charmaj) rhythms on multiple drums. During the performance, he demonstrated numerous distinct rhythmic patterns, folk grooves, regional percussion styles, tempo variations, and cultural rhythm structures representing diverse Indian musical traditions. The marathon performance commenced on 2nd June 2026 at 7.40 am and concluded on 3rd June 2026 at 20.00 pm and set a New World Records with World Records India at Shiv Hans Studio & Musical Class, Tardeo, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
