YOUNGEST CHILD TO SECURE FIRST PLACE IN A PANINI ASHTADHYAYI SHALAKA COMPETITION

Vasudha Bhattarai, aged 9 years, a Class III student of Tulsi Vidya Niketan, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest girl child to secure first place in a National-Level Panini Ashtadhyayi Shalaka Competition in 2025. The competition was organized at Sharda Bhavan, Agastyakund, Varanasi, during the Ganeshotsav celebrations and witnessed participation from more than 100 students representing various states of India, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and Madhyama-level Sanskrit scholars. This remarkable achievement was reported and recognized by World Records India on 6th June 2026.
