On the occasion of the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar (Babasaheb Ambedkar). Prashik Gramin Shakari Patsanstha Maryadit, Karanja Lad, Dist. Washim, Maharashtra, organized a world record program under the leadership of Ms. Asha Raut, Artists Manoj Sukhadevrao Paturkar & Paras Gopal Putarkar. They created the largest portrait of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, measuring 50 feet in height and 50 feet in width, using 550 kgs of white rice, and set a New World Record on April 14, 2025, at Karanja Lad, Dist. Washim, Maharashtra. They donate rice to underprivileged individuals in village.
