LARGEST RANGOLI OF STATE MAP INSIDE HUMAN CHAIN.
In an Innovative Effort to Raise Awareness among the Youth about Voting and to Increase Voter Turnout for the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections. The COLLECTOR OFFICE OF PALGHAR, MAHARASHTRA, organized an extraordinary world record program under the guidance of MR. GOVIND BODKE, COLLECTOR PALGHAR, and MRS. VIJAYA JADHAV, DEPUTY COLLECTOR (EGS) & SVEEP NODAL OFFICER, the event featured the creation of the Largest Rangoli of the Map of Maharashtra, measuring an impressive 180 feet in height and 156 feet in width, covering a total area of 28,080 square feet crafted using 2,100 kilograms of rangoli powder. Adding to the spectacle, a human chain of 1,500 students was formed along the outer border of the map, symbolizing unity and the collective responsibility to vote, and they set up a New Record on 18th November 2024, at Aryan High School Ground, Palghar, Maharashtra.
