LONGEST URDU MUSICAL PLAY – A FUSION OF SINGING, DRAMA, AND DANCE

To Promote Urdu Poetry and the Life of the Greatest Urdu Poet Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib across the Globe. NAUSHAD LIGHTWALA an Artist, Singer, and Writer of Ghazal Club, Ahmedabad in Association with Ankur Pathan Production, Gujarat, India Conceptualised the Longest Musical Urdu Play with the fusion of Music, Drama, and Dance “MIRZA GHALIB THE MUSICAL” on the Life of Greatest Urdu Poet Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib Saheb in which Naushad Lightwala himself performed as Writer, Director, Lead Actor (Ghalib) and Singer and Sang a total 21 Ghazals of Singer Jagjit Singh with 4 co-stage artists for 2 Hours and set a New Record on 8th February 2024 at The Gujarat Sahitya Parishad Auditorium, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This Urdu Musical Play was Presented by Mustafa Ajmeri, Music Re-Created by Kinner Thakore, Female Vocals by Devangi Brahmbhatt, and supported by Ankur Pathan as Creative Director.
