 FIRST SCULPTOR TO MAKE HEAVIEST COPPER METAL SCULPTURE IN ONE PIECE

On the auspicious day of Pran Pratishtha for Shri Swami Samarth, devotee SHRI PRAKASH ANANT VALAME from Talegaon, Dabade in Tahsil-Maval, Pune District, Maharashtra installed a statue of SHRI SWAMI SAMARTH MAHARAJ. This magnificent work of art was originally crafted by sculptor MRS. SUPRIYA SHEKHAR SHINDE and stands at an impressive height of 5 feet 6 inches while weighing a staggering 1131 kilograms. The statue was created using clay, oil furnish, and pure copper material that underwent the intricate process of lost wax casting to produce a seamless single-piece masterpiece without any flaws or imperfections. Mrs. Supriya’s exceptional achievement has earned her recognition as the first woman sculptor to receive such an honor which was confirmed by World Records India on April 21st, 2024.
