FIRST-TIME INNOVATED SMART WALKING STICK FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED.

To support Visually Impaired to Guide for a Destination and Obstacle Collision Avoidance. SAL INSTITUTE OF DIPLOMA STUDIES, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 13 Students designed “SMART STICK” for the visually impaired within 6 months of time under the leadership of DR. RUPESH VASANI (DIRECTOR, SAL CAMPUS) & DR. AJAY UPADHYAY (PRINCIPAL, SIDS). They made battery operated smart walking stick using hardware like a Microcontroller, sensors, & circuit vibrator, etc., and was successfully tested and gifted to visually impaired students on the Birthday of Hon. Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modiji and set a New World Record on 17th September 2023. The Project was supported and guided by SHRI DHRUV BHATT (PROJECT MENTOR) & DR. MONIKA SWAMI.
