Purnima Mani (born on 15th July 1981) an Artist & Fashion Designer from Chennai, Tamilnadu designed the Longest Ponnadai Shawl (shawl-vai) with portraits handmade by exclusive Aari work of the Present Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu M.K STALIN and Past Chief minister M.KARUNANIDHI measuring 34.6 feet in Length & 46 Inch in Width using embossing Silk fabric. Hand Work made by pure Silk zari Threads and set a New Record on 16th July 2023 at Purnis Boutique, Nolambur, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
