 LARGEST INDIAN FIGHTER KITE

Gulabchand R. Jangid, (born on July 4, 1972) Kite Flyer from Nagpur, Maharashtra, flew a Indian fighter kite sized 197.34 feet x 67.42 feet (13304.662 Sq. feet ) Long and 60.149 x 20.549 mtr width. Kite total weight is 150 kgs on the occasion of Makar Sankranti Festival at Resham Bagh Ground, Nagpur, Maharashtra on January 13, 2012. Kite was made of plastic cloth with 15 bamboo sticks, SS Pipes 4 to 5 feet Length (2.5 inch dia) and flown using 600 feet long and 19 mm thick nylon rope.
