Film City known as Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari, was established in 1977 by Government of Maharashtra. It is an integrated film studio complex, expanded over 520 acres land with lush green surrounding adjacent to Sanjay Gandhi National Park at Goregaon East, Mumbai in India. It has set World Record to held 53 Shootings in a single day at various locations of Film City on 18th February, 2013. It has 42 Outdoor Locations and 16 Shooting Floors including gardens, lakes, church, temple, court, police station and grounds that serve as the venue of many Bollywood films, Commercial Ads and TV Serial Shootings.
