 YOUNGEST SPECIAL BOY TO PERFORM OPEN SEA SWIMMING FOR LONGEST DISTANCE

Master Prithish Prashant Shirsath (born on February 23, 2008), a 73% Cerebral Palsy Special Swimmer from Nashik, Maharashtra, India, demonstrated extraordinary determination and resilience by successfully completing an open sea swimming challenge. He swam from Atal Setu to Gateway of India, Mumbai, Maharashtra covering a remarkable distance of 17 kilometers in 3 hours and 40 minutes. This achievement was accomplished under the expert guidance of Swimming Coach Hari Arjun Sonkamble and in association with the Open Water Sea Swimming Association, affiliated with the World Open Water Sea Swimming Association. His outstanding feat was officially confirmed by World Records India on January 10, 2026.
