LONGEST TIME STARING AT THE SUN WITHOUT BLINKING

Lal Vijay Srivastava (Born on December 12, 1977), from Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India, demonstrated an extraordinary feat of eye endurance and concentration by looking directly at the Sun with naked eyes during daytime without blinking continuously for 12 minutes and 53 seconds at approximately 12:30 PM in 33°C temperature conditions. This record has been officially submitted for recognition and inclusion in World Records India on 6th March 2026.

Health Warning :
Staring directly at the sun, even for a few seconds, can cause serious and often permanent eye damage, a condition known as solar retinopathy. Health experts, along with World Records India, strongly advise against attempting such activities. Although some individuals who performed these feats claimed that advanced yogic or meditation practices, such as Trataka meditation, protected them from harm, such outcomes are neither typical nor considered safe. These acts are not recommended for the general public under any circumstances.
