LONGEST DISTANCE SWIMMING BY DOWN SYNDROME BOY UNDER THE RIVER
Swayam Vilas Patil (Born on 28th March 2007) a Down Syndrome Boy from Nashik, Maharashtra with 50% Disability participated in the 77th Open Water Long Distance Swimming Competition 2023 and swam 19 km in the Bhagirathi River from Sadarghat to Gora Bazar Ghat under the leadership of Coach Hari Arjun Sonkamble & Murshidabad Swimming Association, recognized by Swimming Federation of India affiliated by B.A.S.A. and was confirmed by World Records India on 3rd September 2023 at Behrampore, West Bengal, India.
