Nova Jet Propulsion Lab which runs by students of SNPIT & RC college, Bardoli, Surat also a branch of COSMAGEN SPACE ORGANISATION Designed the Lightest and Smallest Satellite named “HAWKSAT”. The Team Lead by Nived Hareesh – Lead Scientist supported by Harsh Vaidya – Lead Technician, Guidance By Harshal T. Shukla. HAWKSAT’s main intention is to collect real-time data acquisition and it will be a part of parent satellite COSMA-NOVA. The satellite will analyze solar radiation and magnetic radiation along the LOW EARTH ORBIT. “HAWK SAT” weight a mere 29 Gms and 3.3 cm cube in size.
