HIGH ALTITUDE LAKE CYCLING EXPEDITION
The Adventurers – Club of Kolkata, West Bengal organized High Altitude Lake Cycling Expedition from New Jalpaiguri (West Bengal) to Gurudongmar Lake (North Sikkim) in which 5 cyclists (Susant Mahankur, Palash Kr. Ghosh, Sujoy Das, Navonil De Sarkar, & Jagannath Ghosh) covered the distance of 262 km in high altitude 17,100 ft. within 6 days. This Cycling expedition started its journey from 2nd April 2012 from New Jalpaiguri and finished at Gurudongmar Lake (North Sikkim) and set a New Record on 7th April 2012.
